Overview About Aidvantage
This is the government credit management unit of Maximus Education. All Department of Educational loan previously serviced by Navient have been transferred to Aidvantage.
You may have used this names and Maximus interchangeably in the media. But it is the name you’ll see on all credit service communications you receive, even though Maximus is the name you’ve seen on the news more often.
Importantly, personal student loans held by Navient are not transferred this unit.
When your credits are transferred, it’s good to get everything set up as soon as possible. Take action to set up your pay preferences and make any necessary changes immediately. Watch below video if you want to understand clearly.
You should ensure that everything is ready to go by May 1, 2022 at the latest. Then the pay break should end and the repayments of the federal student loan should be resumed.
